Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome! Below are answers to some of the most common questions about Peoples Church. If you don’t see your question answered here, please feel free to contact us—we’d love to connect with you.

About Peoples Church

Peoples Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-believing church committed to glorifying God, preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, and making disciples. We desire to be a church for all people—calling everyone to repentance, faith, and obedience to Christ.

Whether you’re exploring faith, returning to church after some time away, or searching for a church home, you are welcome here. You are invited to come as you are, take part as you feel comfortable, and learn alongside us.

What do you believe?

We hold to historic, orthodox Christian beliefs rooted in Scripture. We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God, and that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, to the glory of God alone.

Are you affiliated with a denomination?

Peoples Church is governed locally and partners with like-minded churches and ministries for the sake of the gospel. In other words, we are non-denominational.

Where do I park and where do I go when I arrive?

You’re welcome to park in any available space. Guest Parking is located on the left side of the sanctuary as you enter the parking lot.

When you enter through the front doors, our Host Team will be happy to greet you, answer any questions, and provide a “New Here” pamphlet to help you feel oriented and at ease.

Is the building accessible?

Yes! Our building is accessible, and if you’d like assistance, a member of our Host Team would be glad to escort you or help in any way needed.

When are your Sunday services?

  • Adult Sunday School: 9:00 am (Conference Room)

  • Main Worship Service: 10:30 am (Sanctuary)

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. You’ll see people dressed casually as well as those in their Sunday best—all are welcome.

What is a typical service like?

Services typically last about 90 minutes and include Christ-centered worship through singing, prayer, Scripture reading, and the preaching of God’s Word. Sermons are expositional, aiming to clearly explain and apply Scripture to everyday life.

You’re welcome to participate as you feel comfortable—many people simply observe during their first visit. Guests are never asked to stand or introduce themselves publicly.

Will I be expected to give or donate?

No. Guests are never expected to give. Giving is an act of worship for those who consider Peoples Church their church home, and there is no pressure or expectation for visitors to participate.

Do you take Communion, and who can participate?

At the beginning of each month, we observe Communion as part of our worship. Clear instructions are provided during the service, and participation is voluntary.

What Bible translation do you use?

We primarily teach and preach from the English Standard Version (ESV), while welcoming the use of other faithful Bible translations.

Do you livestream or record sermons?

Yes! On Facebook!

Will photos or video be taken during services?

Services may be livestreamed or photographed. We are mindful and respectful of guests, and participation is always optional.

What is your music style?

Our music style may vary from week to week. Most weeks we worship the Lord through congregational singing with instrumental accompaniment, with an emphasis on meaningful, Christ-focused worship rather than performance.

Do you offer children’s ministry?

Yes. We provide age-appropriate, Bible-based teaching for children, and we value partnering with parents as they disciple their children at home.

What to expect for kids (K–5th grade):

  • Children begin the service in the sanctuary with their families

  • After our meet-and-greet time, children are escorted by trained volunteers to Kids Church in The Ark

  • Parents pick up their children in The Ark following the service

  • Our children’s ministry uses a secure check-in process to ensure safety and peace of mind

If you have questions or would like assistance on your first visit, our Host Team is happy to help.

Do you accommodate sensory or special needs?

Yes. We want to serve individuals and families with care and dignity. Please speak with a member of our Host Team, and we will do our best to support your needs.

Do you have a midweek study?

Yes. Peoples Church offers a midweek Bible study designed to help believers grow deeper in their understanding of Scripture and apply God’s Word to everyday life.

  • Wednesdays at 6:30 pm (Fellowship Hall)

  • Children’s Ministry is available

When does youth group meet?

Youth Group (6th–12th grade) meets every Wednesday night in The Ark.

How do I get connected beyond Sunday services?
